Parent portal
At Strathfield South Public School we use parent portal apps to make communication and admin easier for families. These tools help you:
- make payments quickly and securely
- view academic reports
- stay up to date with school events
- record absences
- view and grant permission for excursions and events
Our parent portal app
School Bytes
For making payments, viewing financial records and giving parental consent for school events.
Log-in to the School Bytes portal or:
- Download School Bytes on Google Play
- Download School Bytes on the Apple Store
How to access:
1. Open the parent portal link – https://portal.schoolbytes.education/auth/login
2. Select the create a new account link.
3. Enter your first and last name as it appears on your student's profile at the school.
4. Enter the email address that you use for school communication.
5. Enter a password and confirm the password
6. Select create account.
7. Once you have created your account, log in to the School Bytes parent portal. You can now link your account to your child's
8. School Bytes platform.
9. Select link other student
10. Search for the school's name
11. Enter the student's first and last name
12. Select the student's current grade
13. Enter the student's date of birth. Select search, if all student information matches with parent information according to the student's official enrollment stored at the school, the system will add the student to the parent account automatically.
