KW have settled into school with an enthusiasm for learning. Throughout this term they have been working hard to build an understanding of being safe, respectful and active learners in order to successfully uphold our school motto "think of others".
This week we have been busy bees in science, literacy and numeracy. First we have used our senses to explore the season of autumn in science and continued to learn all about time in mathematics. During guided reading we have been motivated to independently learn our sight words and practice writing our ideas to create a class journal for our reading corner. Each day we are very excited to visit the jellybean table to become confident readers. Lastly, we have thoroughly enjoyed participating TEN groups as we work with a partner to problem solve using unifix cubes!
