The PATH program continues with approximately 36 parents involved! A great partnership initiative - Parents As Teacher Helpers (PATH). This program, modelled on other successful parent partnership initiatives, is a volunteer program that will allow parents and caregivers the opportunity to be trained by our staff facilitator. The program gives those involved, the tools to successfully support children to learn to read, write and use counting in the early years of schooling. It helps parents develop the questioning skills and confidence to deliver high quality assistance in the classroom.
If you are still interested in being involved with this program, it will require a commitment to attend 2 hour sessions at our school from 9:00-11:00am on a fortnightly basis. Please contact the school office. The training dates are as follows:
Term 3:
Week 5 Wednesday 22.8.18
Week 7 Wednesday 5.9.18
