School Banking

19 Dec 2018

Congratulations to the following WINNERS for the Dollarmite Classroom Challenge;

Stage 1     2Y,

Stage 2     4/3Y,

Stage 3     S3D

A representative from CBA will be present on Tuesday to present the winning classes their certificate and Icy-poles.

Attention Year 6 student bankers – Tuesday is your last chance to claim your hard earned rewards so come along to check if you’re eligible for a reward.

We are still experiencing a shortage of rewards so in order to enable all students a chance to get their hands on either a Slushie Maker Cup or the Zoom Flying Disc, students will only be allowed to claim only one of the above reward at a time.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

A BIG THANK YOU to all volunteers who have supported this program throughout the year.  It would not be possible without you help.

We NEED YOU!!!

SCHOOL BANKING HAS FINISHED AT SSPS

School Banking is a volunteer based program and our current, longstanding volunteers are no longer able to commit to banking every week.

As we have no volunteers to take over, we regretfully advise that School Banking has finished at SSPS.

We would especially like to thank Betty Chenh and her team who have volunteered as our School Banking Coordinators since 2016.  Betty has finished up as our Coordinator.  Thank you also to the many other volunteers who have supported the program throughout this period.

Our School Banking volunteers have been vital in helping teach students the importance of saving regularly as well as working with the children to earn over $31,672 fundraising for our school over the 2012 to the end of term 3 2018.

FINAL CALL! If you want School Banking to continue, we need you.

Calling for School Banking Coordinators – we need your help!

Our students have really enjoyed participating in the Commonwealth Bank School Banking program and to keep this program running (and contributing valuable funds to our school) we need your help.

The program requires School Banking Coordinators to facilitate the banking and distribution of School Banking rewards. This only takes a small amount of your time one day a week and the Commonwealth Bank will provide support in how to run the program. Your help with the program will greatly benefit students as they develop vital saving skills and also help our school with fundraising.

Currently, School Banking day is Tuesday, howeverthis day can be changed to accommodate volunteers’ requirements.

If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions about this great program, please email sspsschoolbanking2018@gmail.com asap.
