SSPS P&C are seeking a volunteer Auditor to join our friendly and supportive team. The nominated person will be responsible for the below duties in their own time:
· auditing of our accounts as per the P&C Association requirements
· reconciling the P&C ledger records, bank statements, cheque butts, bank deposits and receipts as well as sighting the minutes of the association for the enabling resolution
· In addition, the Auditor may be called upon to reconcile the records of each sub-committee, where separate accounts are kept and then provide a summary of total assets held by the P&C Association.
This volunteer role would suit a person who understands financial management, bookkeeping and issues of probity, however they do not have to be a qualified professional or current parent/carer of an SSPS student.
